Plain English summary
Use Epicly lawfully, pay your subscription, don't abuse the platform. We provide the service in good faith and work hard to keep it running. Either party can end the relationship with reasonable notice.
1. The Service
Epicly.live ("Epicly", "we", "us") provides a live multiplayer entertainment platform for hospitality venues. These Terms govern your use of the platform as a venue operator.
By registering an account you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Your Account
- You must provide accurate business information when registering
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure
- One account per venue location — additional venues require additional accounts
- You must be 18 or over and authorised to enter contracts on behalf of your business
- Business email addresses only — personal email addresses are not accepted
3. Free Trial
- New accounts receive a 15-day free trial with 5 full game sessions
- No credit card required for the trial period
- Trial sessions are for evaluation purposes only
- We reserve the right to end or modify trial terms at any time
4. Subscriptions & Payment
- Paid plans are billed monthly in advance
- Prices shown exclude VAT where applicable
- Payment is due on the subscription renewal date
- Failed payments may result in service suspension
- No refunds for partial months
- Price changes will be communicated with 30 days notice
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Epicly to:
- Create content that is illegal, offensive, discriminatory or harmful
- Attempt to reverse engineer, copy or replicate the platform
- Use automated tools to access the platform in ways not intended
- Resell or sublicense access to third parties without our written consent
- Conduct activities that damage or overload our infrastructure
6. Content & Questions
AI-generated questions are provided for entertainment purposes. While we use reputable AI systems and quality controls, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of every question. You are responsible for reviewing content before use in your venue.
Custom content you add to the platform remains your property. By adding it you grant us a licence to use it to provide the service.
7. Availability
We aim for 99.5% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible. We are not liable for losses arising from service interruptions beyond our reasonable control.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Epicly's liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or loss of profit claims.
9. Termination
- You may cancel your account at any time from your dashboard
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
- We may terminate accounts that breach these Terms with immediate effect
- On termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email with 30 days notice for material changes. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
