Music Bingo keeps the social DNA of traditional bingo — the build-up, the near-misses, the table chatter — but swaps numbered balls for music clips and paper cards for phones. Every player's card is unique, every claim is server-verified, and nobody can fudge a "house" they didn't earn.

How is Music Bingo different from Music Mayhem?

Mayhem is fast — buzz in, race to answer, speed bonuses. Bingo is slower — get a unique card, listen, tap matches when you spot them. Mayhem is a buzzer game, Bingo is a card game. Most venues run both on different nights to attract different crowds.

How does music licensing work?

Music Bingo plays official iTunes 30-second preview clips served directly from Apple's CDN. As long as your venue holds standard UK pub licensing (typically PPL and PRS via TheMusicLicence — which almost all licensed premises already hold), public music playback is covered. Epicly is the delivery mechanism; the licensing relationship sits between your venue and PPL PRS Ltd.

Can players cheat by tapping random squares?

No — the server verifies every tap against the songs actually played. If a player taps a song that hasn't played, the square locks and they lose their chance to claim it. Row and house claims require genuine matches.

Do guests need to download an app?

No. Players scan a QR code or enter a short game code at epicly.live in any phone browser. Joining takes about five seconds.

How many people can play at once?

Up to 200 concurrent players per session. Each gets their own unique 5×5 card.

Can we use our own song list?

Yes, on higher tiers you can request themed pools (80s only, Motown, UK indie, a specific decade) or upload a custom song list for private events.

What hardware does the venue need?

A screen the room can see, a connected device to display Epicly, and venue WiFi for guest phones.

How much does Music Bingo cost?
